We are offering the exciting opportunity for an apprentice to join our Business Intelligence Team and play a key role supporting the strategic direction of our organisation.

This is a fully supported apprentice programme in data analytics, providing the opportunity to learn and develop in a fast paced environment.

We are looking for candidates with a positive, analytical mindset who are keen to grow and learn.

Full training will be provided.

Job Purpose

This role will support the Data Analyst who has oversight of all NHS Patient related Business Intelligence within the organisation.

· Collate data for Monthly Invoice creation and Monthly Data Set submission.

· To ensure data is collected in an accurate, timely, consistent way and that complete information is recorded within our systems.

· Support the Data Analyst with collation of operational and performance data for Quality and Performance reporting.

· Working alongside other departments to ensure the provision of accurate and timely data

Key tasks

Summary – Interrogating data, collecting, analysing, correcting and presenting results for reporting requirements:

1. Acquiring data from primary data source (ipmc2 Database).

2. Manipulating downloaded Excel reports.

3. Ad hoc tasks on behalf of the Data Analyst.

4. Communicating with Workstreams to address any data queries and missing data.

5. Interrogating patient files to address any data queries and missing data.

6. Assisting with invoice data collation

7. Analysing monthly data to calculate internal and CCG KPIs

8. Escalating Data Quality issues to Data Analyst.

9. Assist with regular monthly and weekly reporting.

10. Process confidential data and information according to guidelines

Key Skills

1. Enjoys problem solving.

2. Attention to detail.

3. Acts on own initiative when troubleshooting data queries

4. Experience using Excel

5. Experience using Outlook.

6. Experience using Microsoft Word.

7. Numerate (Be able to work with percentages, max, min, average, rolling averages, clock start/clock stop times and day counts etc)

8. Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

9. Good communication skills - The role requires liaising with other departments.

10. Ability to manage multiple priorities

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Salary: £4.30 per hour
