Physiological Measurements Ltd have extensive and award-winning experience in delivering community diagnostics, in particular community ultrasound services. Developing relationships with key service stakeholders is central to this role. As such we are now recruiting for a Regional Manager to cover the North West predominantly the areas around Greater Manchester. Working remotely, the Regional Manager will oversee the below responsibilities within their dedicated area, working closely with the Regional Manager for the Manchester Area.

A requirement of this role is to visit clinical locations in the North West of England and As such travel is essential part of this role. Travel beyond your usual place of work will be reimbursed in line with the company expenses policy.

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 with an additional £5000 car allowance.

Locations: Remote working, however would need to travel to clinical locations across the North West of England. Predominantly, Greater Manchester Area. 

Hours: 40 hours per week

Key Purpose of Role

The Regional Manager will be responsible for the effective management, deployment and development of our team of Advance Imaging Assistants. They will deliver regular team meeting, initiative drives and deliver improvement training to ensure and maintain excellent support to the clinician and patient experience.

The Regional Manager will be responsible for overseeing clinical locations and environments remain fit for purpose, and ensure that appropriate stock levels are maintained and that ‘value for money’ reviews are undertaken periodically.

The Regional Manager will be responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with our clinical locations, undertaking clinical audits, site visits and ensuring that contractual benefits are achieved and delivered for the business.

The Regional Manager will be responsible for identifying and undertaking clinical site reviews for proposed new locations. They will ensure that the site and location meet company compliance and policy requirements.

The Regional Manager will attend periodical Contract meetings alongside other PML representatives with commissioning organisations, providing local insight on operational service delivery.

The Regional Manager will be responsible for conducting Patient Walk Throughs at sites to sample User Experience. They will use Patient Satisfaction data and Complaints/Feedback themes to identify user experience improvements.

The Regional Manager will be responsible for the effective utilization of our Diagnostic Ultrasound machines, ensuring that each is maintained and faulty components reported to our technical partner and resolved. They will also ensure that the latest technological advancements are made available to the business as and when appropriate for consideration.

They will be responsible for the effective management of our Image Management Solution, ensuring all images from the clinical locations are uploaded successfully and that any issues are logged and resolved. They will be responsible for the monitoring of the CIMAR gateway, ensuring that all operational equipment is successfully connecting on a daily basis.

Skills attributes and experience:

  • Experience in a similar environment, preferably delivering diagnostic procedures to patients
  • Previous people management experience is essential
  • Recruitment experience is desirable.
  • Must understand and comply with patient confidentiality rules
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly professional with friendly and empathic manner
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Eligibility to reside and work in the UK
  • Understanding of Data Protection
  • Excellent time management abilities
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good understanding of IT and the ability to learn new systems.

Full valid UK driving license and own vehicle to travel throughout our service regions is essential
