The role may require travel outside of the Greater Manchester region to provide ad hoc support in other territories.

Aim of the Role:

The GP Liaison Officer will serve as the primary point of contact between General Practitioners (GPs) and our diagnostic services. The role aims to foster strong relationships with GPs, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration to enhance patient care and streamline referral processes

Job Profile:

The GP Liaison Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with GP practices across Greater Manchester. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of healthcare services, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, and passionate about improving healthcare delivery.

Job Duties:

Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with GPs and their practice staff to promote our diagnostic services.

Communication: Act as the main point of contact for GPs, addressing inquiries, providing information, and facilitating effective communication between GPs and our diagnostic teams.

Education and Training: Organise and deliver training sessions for GPs and practice staff on our services, ensuring they are well-informed about our diagnostic capabilities and referral processes.

Referral Process Management: Streamline and manage the referral process, ensuring timely and accurate referrals from GPs to our diagnostic services.

Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from GPs to identify areas for improvement and work with internal teams to enhance service delivery.

Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on liaison activities, referral patterns, and feedback to senior management.

Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate events such as workshops, seminars, and meetings to engage with GPs and promote our services.

Market Analysis: Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in our services.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintenance of Personal Training Record, Protecting and Safeguarding of personal/sensitive information within their department

ACCOUNTABILITY: The post holder is accountable to the Commercial Director.

 Working hours: Monday - Friday 9.00am-5.00pm

Starting Salary: £30,000.00
