PML are one of the cardiology centres that have been approved by the Sport and Exercise Department of the FA to undertake cardiology screening on their behalf. We provide a mobile screening service for sports clubs and people where we come to a chosen location.
To ensure your staff and ours are kept as safe as possible, set guidelienes are in place within our Sports Screening Protocol-COVID-19. This should have been sent to you prior to arranging your clinic. You will also have a club COVID-19 policy.
Part of our protocol is as follows:
The Club medical staff have a responsibility to ensure their players have been contacted the morning prior to their PML appointment; and have carried out the Covid-19 pre-screening review.
We require confirmation, in writing, the day before the clinic, that you have:
A list of any players, as a result of answering positive to any of the above points, that have been asked NOT to attend the screening clinic on the specified date, their details must be emailed through to both the screener (see your booking confirmation) as well as [email protected]
Important Note: this clinic can only go ahead if this important email is received the day before your clinic date.
Thank you for understanding regarding the further checks and reassurances that we are needing to have in place during this Pandemic.
